Our Story
We met many moons ago in middle school youth group—back when Jacob was kind of gross (Monica's words, not his). Life took us down different paths for a while. Monica went off to college, and Jacob kept growing—hopefully out of the gross phase.
Years later, we reconnected, and something just clicked. We fell in love, got married on November 23, 2024, and started building a life rooted in faith, purpose, and a whole lot of caffeine.
After wrestling with the weight of corporate life, Jacob felt a deep calling back to ministry. So we started dreaming—about building something meaningful, mobile, and ministry-minded. That dream became Bean Redeemed: a coffee trailer serving more than just drinks—we serve joy, community, and the hope we've found in Christ.

Our Mission
Bean Redeemed Coffee Co. is more than just a mobile coffee shop—it serves as a beacon of hope and love in the Chesapeake community. Founded on Christian values, the company aims to provide encouragement through every cup of ethically sourced coffee, every prayer offered, and every smile from a welcoming team. The mission goes beyond serving great coffee; it’s about sharing the love of Jesus with everyone who stops by.

Psalm 40:1–3 is more than a verse—it’s a foundation. These words reflect a journey from struggle to redemption, from waiting to renewal. They speak of being lifted out of darkness and placed on solid ground, of having a new song to sing because of God’s faithfulness.
Bean Redeemed exists as a living expression of that transformation. The name itself is a declaration of what God has done—redeeming brokenness and replacing it with purpose. Every drink served carries the message of hope, restoration, and the new life found in Christ.
Our Vision
At Bean Redeemed, our vision is to spread the Gospel while spreading joy—one cup at a time. We long to see Jesus move in hearts and communities in ways only He can. Through every drink we serve and every conversation we have, we aim to reflect His love, grace, and truth.
As we grow, we envision establishing a brick-and-mortar location—a welcoming space for people to gather, read, study, and connect. A place where Bible studies can flourish, worship nights can stir hearts, and lives can be changed. We dream of creating a refuge where a Christian counselor is available to walk alongside others in their journey, offering hope and healing through Christ.
Everything we do is rooted in our desire to be used by God to build His Kingdom and make His name known.
